Germany on Saturday discouraged non-essential journeys to China, the world’s most populous nation, which is scuffling with a surge in Covid circumstances after enjoyable strict virus restrictions.

“We at the moment discourage non-essential journeys to China. The motive is a peak in Covid infections and an overwhelmed well being system,” the German foreign ministry said on Twitter.

More than a dozen countries have slapped fresh travel regulations on travellers from China.
