Raipur: Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr. T.S. Singh dev today launched the e-Panchayat Chhattisgarh web portal prepared by the Panchayat Department. This portal is mainly designed to work on four modules. At the launch of the portal, mr. Singh dev inquired about the technical aspects of the web portal. Along with this, many necessary suggestions were also given to add some new information in the portal.

Inaugurating the web portal, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister mr. Singhdev said that e-Panchayat Chhattisgarh web portal will definitely prove to be effective in making the state digitally empowered in the field of e-governance. He said that with this the state would move forward in the direction of political-social empowerment. It will also help in achieving the objectives of Panchayati Raj. mr. Singhdeo congratulated and extended best wishes to all the stakeholders including the departmental officers and the people of the state for this initiative. On the occasion of the launch of the portal, Commissioner of Panchayat and Rural Development Department mr. Avinash Champawat, Departmental Secretary mr. R. Prasanna, Special Secretary and MNREGA Commissioner Mr. Mohammad Kaiser Abdulhaq were also present.

During the launch of the portal, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Singhdev took information from the officials about the process of payment of salaries of Panchayat Secretaries through the portal. He also inquired about the availability of data related to probation, promotion, promotion as well as information related to all the basic facilities available in the villages and access of benefits of government schemes by each family. Departmental officials said that the availability of data related to facilities including salaries of Panchayat Secretaries is on the portal. Some new information is being added. On this, Shri Singhdev suggested that the complete data base of each family including basic facilities in every street and locality of the village should be updated by March 31, on the basis of which all services can be made available in those gram panchayats by making plans.

Significantly, there are more than 11 thousand gram panchayats in Chhattisgarh. In such a situation, the e-Panchayat Chhattisgarh web portal prepared by the Panchayat Department will act as a platform for better implementation, evaluation, monitoring and training of state and central government schemes with transparency. Through this portal, four modules will be available for broadcasting of learning videos by Panchayat Department, salary payment of Gram Panchayat secretaries, survey and data revision, as well as compilation and maintenance of documents related to departmental orders, notifications and acts.

Through the portal, online payment of salaries of Panchayat Secretaries working in Gram Panchayats across the state will be done by the HRMS (Human Resource Management System) software of the Panchayat Department. LMS (Learning Management System) will broadcast the learning videos related to Panchayati Raj Institutions issued by the State and Central Government. KMS (Knowledge Management System) for compilation of documents related to departmental orders, notifications and acts by the Directorate of Panchayats and Survey module has also been developed for collection of basic information on the first 100 points of Gram Sabha in Gram Panchayats. .
