The 17th witness in the Malegaon bomb blast case has turned hostile. Not only this, the court has been told on behalf of the witness that he was abducted by the ATS and was kept in illegal custody for three to four days.

Another witness turned hostile in the Malegaon blast 2008 case. This is the 17th witness who refused to testify in the Malegaon blast 2008 case. Even before this many witnesses have turned hostile from their statements.

The witness deposed in the special NIA court. His statement was recorded by the ATS when he was probing the case. The NIA later took over the responsibility of investigating the case. The witness told the court during his testimony that the ATS kept him hostage for three-four days and pressurized him to name the RSS leaders.

Earlier 16 witnesses changed their statement

Let us tell you that even before this 16 witnesses have turned hostile. A witness had even made sensational allegations, reversing from his statement and said that there was pressure on him from the ATS to name Yogi Adityanath in this case. Apart from this, senior RSS pracharak Indresh Kumar and Swami Aseemanand had claimed to be pressured to be named.

Parambir Singh was ACP of ATS

Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh was the Additional Commissioner of ATS when the Malegaon town blast took place and investigated the 2008 Malegaon blast case. Presently Parambir Singh is accused in many cases of extortion and investigation of Parambir is going on in this context.
