Tableaux from 12 states participated in the Republic Day parade this year. The tableau of Uttar Pradesh was selected in the first place. The front part of the tableau also depicted the ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) scheme of the state, which would create employment opportunities along with preserving, developing and promoting indigenous products, arts and handicrafts through skill development programme. does. A glimpse of Kashi Vishwanath Dham was seen in the back part of the tableau, in which the glorious history and culture of the ancient city of Varanasi was also displayed. This city is made up of Varuna and Assi rivers. The Jyotirlinga of Lord Vishweshwar is revered in Kashi Vishwanath Dham, situated in the heart of this city, situated on the west bank of the Mokshadayini Maa Ganga. This tableau was prepared by the artists of Kolkata in 20 days.

The Indian Navy has got the first award in the marching contingent of the three services. The marching contingent of the Navy consisted of 96 men, three platoon commanders and one contingent commander. The squad was led by Lieutenant Commander Aanchal Sharma, a resident of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, serving in the Navy for 5 years. In four years, a woman commander has got this responsibility. Aanchal’s father Ambrish Kumar is retired from the rank of Subedar Major. Now he is a teacher. Aanchal’s husband Mayank is also a lieutenant commander in the Navy. The country’s first indigenous Aircraft Carrier (IAC) ‘Vikrant’ was shown on the Rajpath in the naval tableau. The front of the tableau depicts the naval mutiny of 1946, which contributed to India’s freedom struggle. The back section depicts the ‘Make in India’ initiative of the Indian Navy from 1983 to 2021. The ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ was also mentioned in the tableau of the Indian Navy.

With its better performance in the Republic Day Parade, CISF has once again been able to make its place in the hearts of the people. In fact, the CISF has been selected in the first place in the marching squad of para-military forces. The CISF contingent has once again won the Best Marching Team trophy by showing its best performance in the Republic Day parade. The CISF has won the trophy in this parade leaving the paramilitary and other auxiliary marching parties behind. Even before this, CISF had won this trophy 6 times. In this way, for the seventh time also, CISF has won the title of Best Marching Team trophy. Earlier in the Republic Day Parade of 2020, CISF got the first award for Best Marching Squad.

The tableaux of nine central ministries also participated in the Republic Day parade, in which there was a fierce competition between the tableaux of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the tableaux of both the ministries were jointly selected for the first place. The Ministry of Education in its tableau depicted the National Policy on Education and the Ministry of Civil Aviation as ‘Udan-Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik’. The special award has been given to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (CPWD). Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and the warriors of Azad Hind Fauj were depicted in the tableau of CPWD. Adorned with flowers, ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ was written on the sides of the tableau. The front of the tableau had a bust of Bose in a saluting posture, while the heroes of the Azad Hind Fauj were displayed on a ‘kiosk’ through old photographs. Some soldiers were seen holding the national flag in the middle of the tableau.
