A pilot on board a Virgin Australia flight was compelled to go away the cockpit and boot an unruly passenger off the aircraft following an altercation. Passengers have been shocked because the unruly passenger grabbed the pilot’s uniform through the scuffle and launched into an expletive-ridden tirade.

The footage has been shared on-line and it has obtained 1000’s of views.

The incident occurred when the aircraft was grounded on the Townsville airport on Wednesday night, in accordance to Sky News Australia. In the video, which was uploaded to a number of social media websites, the unruly passenger wearing a bucket hat and yellow crocs may be seen arguing with employees.

Ben McKay, another fellow passenger, who was onboard and who uploaded the video to TikTok later told Sky Australia that the passenger had several alcoholic drinks before the journey.

The Virgin Australia authorities later confirmed that the man was removed from the flight for disruptive behaviour. The man also faces travel restrictions.

“The safety of guests and crew is our number one priority and we have zero tolerance for any type of unruly behaviour on Virgin Australia flights. Incidents are referred to the Australian Federal Police or State Police where appropriate,” Virgin Australia stated in a press release.

Earlier in November, an inebriated passenger onboard an Air India flight headed to Mumbai from New York, urinated on septuagenarian passenger seated subsequent to him.
