Pakistani forces launched an airstrike on Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) stronghold areas in Nangarhar province, following repeated ‘warnings’ from each Taliban-Pakistan Governments, an Afghanistan newspaper ‘Hasht-e-Subh Daily’ reported.

Reports quoting sources in Nangarhar mentioned that Pakistani fighters bombed targets in the Salala neighbourhood close to the Gushta District.

Pakistan’s National Security Council (NSC) reportedly determined three days in the past that the Country’s forces ought to undertake a zero-tolerance coverage towards terrorists.

TTP is a separate entity from the Taliban in Afghanistan however shares the same Islamist Ideology.
