Don’t call ‘swastika’ a ‘Nazi symbol’, Trudeau, Hindus of America protested

Prime Minister Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh, both the leaders had made such statements accusing the protesters of ‘hoisting the swastika mark’ in the past, which threatens to disturb social harmony.

In Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has angered Hindus once again by comparing the swastika to a Nazi symbol. A well-known Hindu organization in America has clearly said that in Canada such things will create hatred against Hindus and Sikhs.

This Hindu organization has asked Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau and Indian-origin leader Jagmeet Singh not to associate the sacred ‘swastika’ of Hindus with the Nazi symbol ‘Hakenkreuz’. It is noteworthy that for the last few days, truck drivers and citizens have been protesting under the flag of ‘Freedom Convoy’ against the imperative of Corona vaccine and other restrictions in Canada. Under this, truck drivers have blocked Canada’s capital Ottawa by putting trucks diagonally. This has severely affected the traffic between Canada and the US.

The Hindupact has asked Trudeau as well as New Democratic Party (NDP) leader Jagmeet Singh not to equate the ‘swastika’ with the Nazi symbol ‘Huckenkreuz’. Hindupact clearly stated that the symbol of Swastika is considered very auspicious and revered among Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs as well as many other communities of the world.

Although the Trudeau government of Canada had imposed a state of emergency in its place to control the situation, but despite that there has been no relief. But during this demonstration, Canadian leader Jagmeet Singh had said in a tweet recently that ‘There is no place for the swastika in Canada’. Jagmeet had tweeted – ‘We have an obligation to keep the citizens of all our communities safe here. It’s time to ban hate symbols in Canada. Along with this, we have to ensure that hatred does not arise anywhere in the society.

Let us inform here that Prime Minister Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh, both the leaders had made such statements in the past, accusing the protesters of ‘hoisting the symbol of the swastika’, which threatened to disturb social harmony.

Taking this seriously, the Hindu organization ‘Hindupac’ of America has commented on it.

Utsav Chakraborty, executive director of this Hindu organization, has said, ‘We believe that such misleading statements will create a feeling of hatred against Hindus and Sikhs’. In the midst of all this, a news also came that there have been incidents of vandalism and looting of many Hindu temples in Canada in the past.

It is worth noting that even in India, the anti-Hindu thinking communists keep on presenting the sacred symbol of the swastika in a misleading way to create a distinction between India and Hindutva thinking, showing it as a ‘symbol of dictatorship’. Some secular newspapers and magazines of India give a lot of air to this devious trick of Marxists.
