New Delhi: Amid rising stress between Russia and Ukraine, senior Chinese diplomat Wang Yi is ready to visit Moscow in February, Russia’s Vedomosti newspaper stated on Monday, citing two sources.

Wang might visit Russian President Vladimir Putin, the newspaper stated citing one of many sources stated.

Earlier this month whereas addressing the media, Chinese Ambassador to Moscow Zhang Hanhui had stated that many delegations from China will visit Russia in 2023.

“The leaders of the Russian Federation and China, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, maintain close contacts, which greatly contributes to the development of Russian-Chinese relations,” he had stated.

The ambassador stated “We will help one another on key points relating to sovereignty, territorial integrity, safety. We will direct joint efforts to preserve peace and stability.
