Eight folks had been killed and 7 arrested following raids on hideouts of the Islamic State militant group in Afghanistan, a Taliban spokesperson mentioned on Thursday.

”These members had a most important position within the assault on the Chinese resort and paved the best way for international ISKP members to come back to Afghanistan,” the spokesperson, Zabiullah Mujahid, mentioned on Twitter, describing Wednesday’s raids.

”Lots of weapons and explosives have fallen into the arms of the safety forces,” he added.
