Two American residents and as many everlasting residents had been amongst these killed in the tragic aircraft crash in Nepal’s Pokhara early this week, a US official has stated.

Speaking at his every day information convention on Wednesday, State Department spokesperson Ned Price stated the United States stands able to assist Nepal in any means it may well in this tough hour.

At least 71 individuals had been killed when a Yeti Airlines’ plane with 72 individuals onboard crashed into Seti river gorge on Sunday whereas touchdown on the Pokhara airport, based on officers of the Kathmandu-based provider.

One individual on board the plane continues to be lacking.

“We are deeply saddened to listen to of the tragic Yeti Airlines crash over the weekend which killed… two US residents and two lawful everlasting residents. Our ideas are with the households of these on board,” Price said.

“The United States stands ready to support Nepal in any way we can in this difficult hour,” he stated.

Indian-American Congressman Dr Ami Bera condoled the lack of lives in the aircraft crash.

“Sending my deepest condolences to the individuals of Nepal and the family members of those that perished in this weekend’s devastating aircraft crash,” Bera said in a tweet.

The government of Nepal has formed a five-member probe committee to investigate the crash – the country’s deadliest aviation accident in over 30 years.
