The victim has given a complaint to the police against her husband Wasim, mother-in-law Shahida, brother-in-law Imran and Devrani Khurshida for dowry harassment, assault and death threats.

Haryana: A case of triple talaq has come to light in Anand Colony of Purana Hamida, Yamunanagar. Where the husband spoke talaq thrice to the wife on the phone itself and broke the relationship. On the complaint of the woman, the Yamunanagar city police has registered a case against the people of the in-laws’ side including the husband under various sections. The woman has given a complaint to the police against her husband Wasim, mother-in-law Shahida, brother-in-law Imran and Devrani Khurshida for dowry harassment, assault and death threats.

The woman told in her complaint that she was married to Waseem of Anand Colony in 2011. He has 4 children. After marriage, she was harassed by her in-laws for dowry. Her husband had kicked her out of the house 2 months ago, but after a few days she went back home because of the children, then he beat her and threw her out of the house and also threatened to kill her. After this the woman started living in a rented house in the same colony. Where 4 days ago her daughter came home crying and said that her father had killed her.

Seeing the condition of the daughter, the woman admitted her to the hospital. Seeing the condition of the daughter, she called her husband Waseem on the phone for help, but he did not come and said talaq thrice on the phone itself. He refused to have any relationship with the woman. On the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case against the in-laws including the husband.
