Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has strongly reprimanded the officials for stopping traffic for his convoy. When he saw people in trouble because of his convoy, he got down and said to the officers, “Hey DC sir, what is this drama? Is any king or king going here? Do not do this.” This video of CM Sarma also went viral on social media, after which people are praising him. CM Sarma has also raised objections about VIP culture.

The Chief Minister of Assam said that he has already given clear instructions to the officials that whenever they visit any area, people should not face any problem because of that. He told that despite this the traffic was stopped, that is why he reprimanded the officials. He said that the National Highway (NH) was blocked for about 15 minutes, including ambulances. CM Sarma clarified that this VIP culture is not acceptable.

Let us inform that Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has already reduced the number of vehicles in his convoy. In the latest case, when he reprimanded the Deputy Commissioner, immediately after that traffic was opened and people were allowed to go. He had gone to an event in Gumothagaon located near NH-37. There he was to lay the foundation stone for the construction of a road. During this, he reprimanded the DC of Nagaon. If the government does not perform well, the number of opponents will increase, he said.

CM Sarma also claimed that he has good relations with MLAs of all parties and not only BJP.
