Recommendation of action under Epidemic Act

Ambikapur: Despite being in home isolation on being covid positive, patients were treated in the clinic by a doctor in violation of home isolation. On violation of Home Isolation BK, action has been recommended to the Collector and Sub-Divisional Magistrate and Incident Commander to take action against the said doctor under the Epidemic Act.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. PS Sisodia informed that Dr. Pragya Agarwal, resident of Shivdhari Colony of Ambikapur, has received corona report positive on January 13. Even after being corona positive, Dr. Aggarwal violated home isolation at his residence located at Gudri Chowk. He is treating patients in his private clinic Tooth Fairy Dental Clinic. He said that action under Epidemic Act has been recommended to Collector Surguja and Sub-Divisional Magistrate and Incident Commander Ambikapur for violation of home isolation of the said doctor.
