Surajpur. In order to take effective action against illegal activities, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Rajesh Agrawal, action is going on against people related to drug trade. On Sunday, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Harish Rathore and SDOP Premnagar Prakash Soni, the police of Ramanujanagar police station laid siege in Bhubaneshwarpur village on the information of the informer and caught Rohit Rajwade’s father Rambabu, from whose possession 650 tablets worth Rs 1463 were confiscated. He was arrested after taking action under Section 21(A) of NDPS Act. Police station in-charge Ramanujnagar Vikesh Tiwari, ASI Bisundev Pankara, constable Ganesh Singh, Manish Sahu, Santosh Thakur, Vedprakash Rajwade, and Mahendra Singh were active in this action.
