Raipur: Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed office bearers of the District Advocates Association, Chhindwara. Ms. Uike congratulated all the newly appointed office bearers and administered them the oath of office and duty at a function organized at District Court Complex, Chhindwara.

Addressing the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Ms. Uike said that advocates play a big role in providing justice to the needy of the society. The function of the judiciary is to protect justice, in which the role of advocates is important. People come from far and wide to the door of the court in search of justice. In such a situation, advocates need to take initiative in this direction so that the victims can get justice at the earliest. The general public has deep faith and faith in the judicial system of the country. This trust of citizens can be upheld only by bringing the criminals to justice and providing speedy justice to the victims. Today lakhs of cases are pending in the court. I request all the advocates to contribute towards providing speedy justice by cooperating in speedy disposal of these cases.

On this occasion, District and Sessions Judge, Chhindwara, Shri J. Of. Sharma, former minister Mr. Chandrabhan Singh, President of District Advocates Association Mr. Satyendra Kumar Verma and newly elected officials, advocates and other dignitaries were present.
