Surajpur: Full dress rehearsal program of preparations for the Republic Day celebration 2022 was organized today at Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School Stadium Ground Surajpur. Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh inspected minute to minute preparations of Republic Day program. During the inspection, the Collector instructed to ensure meeting arrangements keeping in mind the physical distancing for the prevention of corona infection. He also asked to arrange for sanitizer at the entrance. In the rehearsal, the arrival of the chief guest, flag hoisting, reading of the Chief Minister’s message to the public and distribution of prizes were rehearsed.

Following the guidelines of Corona, he gave necessary directions to all the officers concerned to celebrate the program in a dignified and simple manner. Instructions have been given to the concerned officers to make arrangements for meeting arrangements, drinking water, electricity, balloons, bands etc. at the main venue of Republic Day. It is to be noted that in the main function of Republic Day to be held on 26th January, Vice Chairman of Surguja Development Authority and Ramanujganj MLA Mr. Brihaspat Singh will be the chief guest.

During this, District Panchayat CEO Mr. Rahul Dev, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Harish Rathore, Trainee IPS Sandeep Patel, Joint Collector Mr. Shiv Banerjee and officers of all departments were present.
