The sufferer within the 2017 Unnao rape incident has opposed the 15-day parole granted to expelled BJP chief Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who’s serving life sentence within the case, to attend his daughter’s marriage.
The sufferer has issued a video assertion and written to President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on this regard, claiming a risk to her life and that of her members of the family.
In the letter which was shared on social media together with the video, she claimed that so long as Sengar, a former MLA, stays outdoors jail, he’ll stay a risk to her, her household and witnesses within the case.
The sufferer additionally claimed that her uncle couldn’t interim bail for her sister’s marriage underneath a conspiracy hatched by the members of the family of Sengar.
The Delhi High Court had on January 16 ordered the discharge of Sengar on parole from January 27 to February 10 to attend his daughter’s wedding ceremony.
