According to police, on January 5, 60 iPhone mobiles, four smartwatches and a pair of laptops have been discovered lacking from Reliance Digital Store at Ardee Mall in Sector 52.

The crime unit Sector 40 staff on Monday arrested the accused, Narendra Kumar, who labored as a supervisor on the retailer, and his good friend, courier boy Ashok Kumar.

Narender informed police that he made duplicate keys of the shop and deliberate to steal the gadgets from there as he was conscious of getting access to it.

”The arrested accused confessed that with the intention to change into wealthy shortly, that they had stolen the gadgets from the shop. We have recovered 57 stolen iPhones, 4 good watches and two laptops from their possession. Further probe is underway”, mentioned Preet Pal Singh Sangwan, ACP, crime. .
