A 40-year-old lady and her two daughters died on Sunday night once they had been run over by the Vande Bharat Express at a manned degree crossing in this district whereas they had been crossing it, police stated. Superintendent of Police (metropolis) Piyush Kumar Singh stated the accident happened when the gates of the Kasampur manned degree crossing had been closed.

He added that the our bodies have been despatched for autopsy. Describing the sequence of occasions, police stated Kankarkhera resident Naresh was pulling a ’rherha’ (a kind of hand-driven cart), whereas his spouse Mona (40) and their daughters Manisha (14) and Charu (7) had been seated on the again aspect of the ’rehra’.

At the Kasampur manned railway crossing, Naresh moved underneath the railway gate, and was crossing the railway observe, when the semi-high velocity prepare hit the rear of the cart, working over Mona, and her two daughters, who died on the spot.
