Hologram statue of Netaji to be installed at India Gate, family members expressed happiness


Families are happy over the government’s decision to install a statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at India Gate. Netaji’s daughter and nephew appreciated the efforts of the government.

The Amar Jawan Jyoti, which had been burning continuously for five decades at the India Gate in honor of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country, was extinguished after it was merged with the Jyoti at the National War Memorial located a few meters away. After this move of the government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced to install a grand statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose under an empty umbrella at India Gate amid political uproar. Netaji’s daughter Anita Bose Kaif has welcomed this decision of the government.

The Prime Minister has written in his tweet that until the granite statue of Netaji is ready, a hologram statue of him will be installed at that place. He will inaugurate it on 23 January on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Netaji. Netaji’s daughter has called it a good move. Anita Bose, who lives in Germany, said that the announcement shocked her. He said, “I am very happy with the decision. India Gate is a very nice location. I am certainly glad that his statue will be installed at such a prominent place.” At the same time, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s nephew Ardhendu Bose said that the importance being given to Netaji’s memory is of great importance that the government Thinks a lot about Netaji. I think what PM Modi has done is absolutely a wonderful step in the memory of Netaji, the whole family is very happy.
