The DGCA stated pilots and cabin crew members have failed to take acceptable actions

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation on Friday issued an advisory to head of operations of all scheduled airways with regard to dealing with unruly passengers on board after incidents of drunk passengers allegedly urinating on feminine passengers sparked outrage.

“In the current previous, DGCA has observed just a few incidents of unruly behaviour and inappropriate conduct by the passengers on board the plane throughout flight, whereby it noticed that put up holders, pilots and cabin crew members have failed to take acceptable actions,” the statement read.

It further noted that “non-action/inappropriate action/omission by the airlines” after the incidents have “tarnished the picture of air journey in several segments of society.”
