An Air India Express flight from Sharjah made an emergency touchdown at Cochin International Airport right here on Sunday following a suspected hydraulic failure, a CIAL spokesperson stated.
A full emergency was declared at the worldwide airport at 8.04 PM and the plane landed safely at 8.26 PM, the Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) spokesperson stated.
No runways had been blocked and no flights had been diverted, he stated.
The emergency was withdrawn at 8.36 PM and air operations had been declared regular, he added.
The CIAL additionally stated that each one 193 passengers and 6 crew members onboard IX 412 from Sharjah had been protected.
