Seven arrests had been made in Barwani, three in Khargone and one every in Burhanpur and Dhar below ‘Operation Prahaar’

Twelve individuals had been arrested and 78 weapons seized after a number of unlawful arms-making factories had been busted in the western a part of Madhya Pradesh, a police official stated on Thursday.

Seven arrests had been made in Barwani, three in Khargone and one every in Burhanpur and Dhar below ‘Operation Prahaar’ in which informers, cyber cell equipment and drones had been deployed, Inspector General of Police (Indore Rural) Rakesh Gupta informed reporters.

Equipment used to make weapons as effectively as 78 firearms have been seized, the IG knowledgeable.

The operation was carried out as such models have thrived over the previous two years in western MP and the area was changing into a hub for smuggling of those weapons to different components of the nation, different officers stated.
