Hans Kluge, WHO’s Europe director known as for precautionary journey restrictions “to be rooted in science, to be proportionate and non-discriminatory”

The World Health Organization mentioned Tuesday it didn’t count on a surge of Covid-19 instances in China to “considerably affect” the situation in Europe.

“The ongoing surge in China is not anticipated to significantly impact the Covid-19 epidemiological situation in the WHO European Region at this time,” Hans Kluge, WHO’s Europe director, advised a press convention.

Kluge known as for precautionary journey restrictions “to be rooted in science, to be proportionate and non-discriminatory”.
