The incident of insulting the nationwide flag after a tricolour with out a Ashok Chakra was seen unfurled near a house of the accused Badrul Hasan. The incident has sparked outrage among the many netizens who demanded motion against the accused after the video of the incident went viral on the social media. In the viral video pertaining to the incident a tricolour with a star and crescent moon may be seen hoisting near the house of the accused.

Learning in regards to the incident the Muzaffarpur police visited the spot and took the disputed flag underneath its possession following which an FIR against the accused Badrul Hasan has additionally been filed by the police.

Taking to twitter, Muzaffarpur police knowledgeable that ‘information pertaining to the insult of the national flag near the house of Badrul Hasan of Gaurihar village under Sakra police station limits of Bariyarpur O.P has been verified. During the verification the flag was found to be in a different pattern, legal action is being taken in this regard.’

 

Meanwhile the Bihar unit of Bharatiya Janata get together (BJP) whereas sharing the small print of the incident slammed the ruling alliance in a tweet and wrote that ‘ good days for radicals have arrived in Bihar.

Row erupted over Darbhanga

Earlier a tug of war also broke out between leaders of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)- Janata Dal United (JDU) alliance and opposition BJP over Darbhanga, where senior leader from RJD, Bhai Virendra alleged that the BJP is trying to communalise the state by inciting violence. The RJD leader also got support from JDU’s MLC Khalid Anwar who claimed that ‘right from the moment they (BJP) were thrown out of power they have been attempting such things, it is their modus operandi, however we will not let their attempts to be succeed.

Meanwhile lambasting the claims made by the RJD-JDU leaders, former minister and senior BJP leader from BJP Nitin Navin said ” that making statements will not help you, I give an open challenge to the Chief minister that if your administration has courage then go ahead and take action.

“Be it Darbhanga or Katihar they blame BJP for every incident occurring in the state, then why are you sitting in the government? Let the BJP run the government, we will show you how to run it”, added Nitin Navin.

A scuffle broke out in Darbhanga of Bihar after members of a particular community objected to the funeral of one of the deceased members of Dalit community at Malpatti crematorium of Hariharpur village under Kamtaul police station limits on July 23 evening.

As per the information received the members of the Dalit community of Dharampur village had arrived at the crematorium to perform the last rites of one of the deceased members of their community when members of the other community objected to it following which an altercation broke out between the two groups.

Earlier in another incident, an altercation also broke out between two groups when members of a particular community allegedly tried to instill a religious flag outside the Durga temple premises near Bazar Samiti Chowk on July 22 night.

Learning about the incident the city police then called upon a peace meeting on the next day however miscreants from a particular group while halting the proceedings started a ruckus in the meet after which both sides started pelting stones on each other.

‘A number of policemen including civilians had also been injured in the scuffles, while a few vehicles of the administration were also targeted and damaged by the miscreants’, knowledgeable Darbhanga police in a tweet on July 26.
