The staff will comprise 13 male and as many feminine athletes, together with Tokyo 2020 Olympian Tajinderpal Singh Toor and girls’s nationwide report holder in 100m hurdles, Jyothi Yarraji. The tenth version of the competitors can be held in Astana, Kazakhstan from February 10-12

The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) on Saturday introduced a 26-member Indian contingent to take part within the 10th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships, going down in Astana, Kazakhstan from February 10-12.

The staff will comprise 13 male and as many feminine athletes, together with Tokyo 2020 Olympian Tajinderpal Singh Toor and girls’s nationwide report holder in 100m hurdles, Jyothi Yarraji.

“The collection of these athletes was primarily based on their performances on the 36th National Games and National Open Athletics Championship 2022, and we have now excessive hopes for his or her success on the occasion,” AFI president Adille Sumariwalla said.

In the last edition of the event, India finished with 6 medals, including four silver and two bronze.
