Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, slammed the Congress-led Chhattisgarh and stated the celebration has degraded the situation of the state.
Addressing a public assembly in poll-bound Chhattisgarh’s Jagdalpur, PM Modi stated: “Congress has made ‘Loktantra’ as ‘loottantra’ and ‘prajatantra’ as ‘Parivartantra.”
“Everyone is fed up with this (CM Bhupesh Bhagel-led Congress) government in Chhattisgarh. Corruption and crime are at their peak in the state. Sometimes it seems like Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh are competing with each other over the crime rates,” the Prime Minister stated.
“Chhattisgarh is among the leading states in terms of killings. It seems like Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan are competing with each other over more murders, loots and crime against women,” says PM Modi in Jagdalpur, he stated.
PM Modi went on to say that in Chhattisgarh, improvement is seen both on posters or in the lockers of the leaders of the Congress authorities. “Chhattisgarh is demanding change,” he added.
‘Congress neglecting Bastar for years’
Intensifying his assault on the Congress, PM Modi in Bastar stated the celebration uncared for the area of Chhattisgarh for many years.
“Congress has neglected Bastar for years. They never thought about the people’s interests. BJP has done several development works here… You all know that as compared to Congress, the BJP gives five times more budget for the tribal people here,” PM stated.
He stated Congress gave a ‘Jhutha prachar aur ghotalebaaz sarkar’ in Chhattisgarh.
‘Corruption rampant all across Chhattisgarh’
Intensifying his assault, PM Modi stated: “Congress has a track record of looting natural resources of the state.”
“The entire country is watching the condition of Chhattisgarh that the Congress has done in the last five years. Corruption is rampant all across the state,” he stated.
‘Won’t enable Congress to turn out to be proprietor of metal plant’
The Prime Minister stated Congress authorities in Chhattisgarh desires to seize the metal plant and earn some huge cash doing do.
“Congressmen want to make the steel plant a medium to fill the coffers of their children and relatives, but Modi will not allow this to happen because the owners of the steel plant are the people of Bastar,” PM stated, including, “I will not allow any Congressman to become the owner of this plant.”
‘More steel industries to be set up in Bastar’
“The steel industries developed here will provide jobs to more than 55,000 people. More steel industries are to be set up here, giving jobs to more than one lakh people. In the upcoming years, youngsters from across the nation will come to Bastar for employment,” PM Modi stated.
“Chhattishgarh is known for steel manufacturing. We are focusing more on infrastructure development,” the PM stated.
The Prime Minister additional stated, “The vision of developed India will be fulfilled when every corner of the country will be developed… Physical, digital and social infrastructure are crucial parameters for a developed nation.”
He additional stated after the electrification of the railway community in Chhattisgarh, Vande Bharat practice can be being operated. “In the upcoming years, all the stations of the state will be developed and transformed by the Central government,” he stated.
