The Delhi Police on Tuesday issued an advisory on visitors preparations and restrictions put in place for the graceful conduct of Republic Day celebrations within the nationwide capital.

According to the advisory, the Republic Day parade will begin at 10.30 am from Vijay Chowk and proceed in the direction of the Red Fort.

The parade will go via Kartavyapath, C-Hexagon, the Subash Chandra Bose roundabout, Tilak Marg and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Netaji Subhash Marg, and Red Fort, it mentioned.

No visitors motion can be allowed on Kartvyapath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate from 6 pm on Wednesday until the parade is over, the advisory mentioned.

No cross-traffic on Kartvyapath from 10 pm on Wednesday at Rafi Marg, Janpath, Man Singh Road until the parade is over, it added.

“C”-Hexagon-India Gate can be closed for visitors from 9.15 am on Thursday until the parade crosses Tilak Marg. From 10.30 am on Thursday, visitors on Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, and Subhash Marg is not going to be allowed in each instructions, it mentioned.

Cross-traffic will solely be allowed relying on the motion of the parade, the advisory acknowledged.

The visitors advisory advised different routes which motorists can comply with.

To go in the direction of Mandir Marg, commuters can take the route from Madarsa, Lodhi Road T-point by way of Aurobindo Marg, AIIMS Chowk, Ring Road-Dhaula Kaun Vande Matram Marg, Shankar Road, the advisory mentioned.

Flying of sub-conventional aerial platforms like para-gliders, para motors, grasp gliders, UAVs, UASs, microlight plane, remotely piloted plane, sizzling air balloons, small size-powered plane, quadcopters or para leaping from plane are prohibited over the jurisdiction of Delhi until February 15, it mentioned.

Commuters going to New Delhi Railway station from south Delhi can undergo Dhaula Kuan, Vande Matram Marg, Panchkuian Road, Connaught Place outer circle, Chelmsford Road for Paharganj aspect or Minto Road and Bhavbhuti Marg for Ajmeri Gate aspect.

From east Delhi, they will take Boulevard Road by way of ISBT bridge, Rani Jhansi flyover, Jhandewalan roundabout, D B Gupta Road, Sheela Cinema Road, Paharganj Bridge, and attain New Delhi Railway Station, it mentioned.

To journey to Old Delhi Railway Station from south Delhi, folks can take Ring Road, Ashram Chowk, Sarai Kale Khan, Rajghat, Chowk Yamuna Bazar, SP Mukherjee Marg, Chhatta Rail, and Kauria Bridge, it mentioned.

Invitees and ticket holders are requested to make most use of metro companies to achieve Kartvyapath. Metro rail service shall stay obtainable for commuters in any respect metro stations throughout the Republic Day Parade on Thursday, it mentioned.

However, boarding/de-boarding on the Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan metro stations will solely be permitted to invitees/ticket holders from 5 am to 2 pm, the advisory acknowledged.
